Darkstalkers 4: DLC Plans

Forget the plans Capcom may have for Darkstalkers, I've set plans for DLC content in my own outlook for Darkstalkers 4. First off...Darkstalkers 4's full roster was all characters available via on disc, meaning that every character there was on disc or has been on disc. Next, there's a total of 10 DLC characters split into 3 different character packs, 2 having a total of four characters each and one pack coming out within first week release featuring 2 characters. There will also be DLC modes, featuring a Tag Team mode where you can either play a 2 vs. 2 or 3 vs. 3 Tag Team match, each character having a total of 2 possible assists which will be listed later on when the ideas are fully completed.

First off...let's start with what I've got so far with the characters....

Character Pack #1: Death and Puppet's Embrace

Featured Characters:

Requiem
Marionette


Requiem is a newly created character that was originally planned to be an in-game character already but was cut from ideas until recently. Requiem is a Shinigami, a Death Spirit who is hunting to return Corruption and his evil minions to the Silent Realm from which they once resided in. He's mysterious, and has no ideals for either good or evil, only what he believes is necessary for others to live peacefully.

Marionette is popularly known from the Darkstalkers Collection on the PSP, being a secret controlling character which played as a doppleganger to other characters. She's now, however, playable with her own move set, which has been planned out to be unique from others.

Both characters will have rivals in Arcade Mode but no story Mode of their own.

Price of pack 320 Microsoft Points/$5.00


Know...the two other packs are meant for a later release date, one being an all-Female pack and the other an All-Male Pack.

Here's the Details of both packs so far...


Pack #1: Natural Hunter's Instinct (Female Pack)

These female characters are all part-beast in some way, one of them being mentioned in the story of one of the characters in the game currently.

Chichi (Were-Squirrel/Best Friend of Lilaca)

Hana-Ocari (Ushi-Oni)

Blossom (NekoMata)

Espiona (Girtablilu/Scorpion Girl)


Chichi: Best friend of Lilaca (Whose design I recently released), She's a very fun-loving, charismatic character with a love for life. She's not a skilled fighter, but she can pack a punch.

Hana-Ocari: Hana's species is one of the most fearsome beasts known to residents of the Demon Realm, an Ushi-Oni. Ushi-Onis are extremely feral and powerful creatures that looks as if one part spider and one part humanoid Demon. Her kind is known to even the demonic beings of the Makai as a "Monstrosity". More details on story have yet to be revealed.

Blossom: Blossom may be one of my original OCs, but now she's being redesigned to be a full Darkstalkers Fighter. She's a Nekomata who can command powerful magic of the three elements of power, being Fire, Ice and Electricity. She's very playful, very curious, and is almost always looking to get some fun out of a situation. She may even end up getting connected to the other two Cat-creatures of Darkstalkers

Espiona: An illusive assassin of the Makai deserts, Espiona is as deadly as she is beautiful. The poison her tail creates can have three different means, depending on how she uses it. One is for lethal kills that can stop a heart almost instantly, the second is for Paralysis and the third is for decaying the internal parts of her victim's body to let them die slowly. Details on her story have yet to be released.

Pack #2: Hunting against and Living For Darkness

All these Characters have yet to be fully looked into as of yet, but all have connections to the darkness of the Makai in some ways...

Headless Horseman Character (Character name/story/insight not yet available)

Demonic Darkstalkers Hunter (A human twisted by the effects of an evil mind to become the ultimate fighting and hunting machine, his main goal to destroy the Darkstalkers in their entirety) (Character name/insight not yet available)


Further DLC ideas include New Arcade Mode Options, Tag Team Modes, Tournament Mode and MORE.
